Portraits – Paul Digby

I will be exhibiting work from my current series entitled Portraits from the 15th – 19th October at Leeds Institute of Health Sciences, University of Leeds in the foyer of the Charles Thackrah Building. The large scale drawings and paintings, commissioned by Arts Council England, portray people from the LS7 area of Leeds. Each person was asked to capture an emotion which I want the audience to determine for themselves.

My practice consists of drawing, painting and sculpture and is influenced by both art and medicine. I will be giving a short, informal talk about his work on 17th October from 11.30-12 in the foyer.
